Nodetool removenode

Remove node with the provided ID from the cluster. This command is used when a node status is Down Normal (DN) and it cannot be restored. Refer to Remove a Node from a Scylla Cluster for further information..

Usage:

nodetool removenode [--ignore-nodes <node-to-ignore>[,node-to-ignore[,...]]] <node-to-remove>

New in version version: 4.6 --ignore-nodes option

The --ignore-nodes option specifies one or more nodes (using a comma-separated list) that are unavailable and that can be skipped for the operation, otherwise it would fail when these nodes cannot be reached. It was added to Scylla in version 4.6.

For example:

nodetool removenode 192.168.1.3

nodetool removenode --ignore-nodes 192.168.1.4,192.168.1.5 192.168.1.3
