Scylla Cloud Sizing and Autoscale¶
When creating a cluster you are required to size the cluster you wish to create. You will need to choose:
The machine type based on storage/#CPU/memory size
The number of machines
The number of Data Centers (DC)
Once this setting is done, Scylla Cloud does all the needed actions to install and deploy the cluster.
You can increase/decrease the size of your clusters based on your application needs. Scylla Cloud supplies you with Scylla Monitoring tools and statistics to monitor your workload’s utilization. You can request to resize your cluster from the Scylla Cloud UI (Action tab at the cluster view menu).
